Scotty Cameron Studio Select Newport Putter: For Players Who Want to Customize

Scotty Cameron used to design putters that did not have interchangeable weight heads. You had to work with whatever club head and shaft combination the company offered you.  This meant that the putters did not fit your exact playing style and skill level.  Now, Scotty Cameron has added a new line of putters, including the Studio Select Newport, that allow golf players to change the weights to fit their game.

The Newport is milled from a block of 303 stainless steel which causes a change in the feel.  For those who have been accustomed to a certain feel may have some difficulty adjusting to this one.  The feel of the Newport is not as soft as some other putters.  After a few rounds, however, you can begin to adjust to the milled Studio Select putter and the sound.

The design of these putters is very sharp looking and quite distinct with the three red dots and the name Scotty Cameron written across one side.  The Three cherry dots also appear on the silver head cover.

Many golfers will tell you that a putter that allows you to customize is a great feature.  If the standard configuration of shaft and club head weight doesn´t fit your game, you can send it to the Custom Shop to customize your putter.  The only disadvantage is that the custom shop isn´t a local place which means you will have to wait some time to receive it back.

These putters are also designed for more advanced players as they offer plenty of feedback on poor shots.  For those who are looking for a firm feel and customization options, the Scotty Cameron Studio Select Newport putter is a good choice.  That way you can have more control over distance and be able to sink in more putts.

Are you looking for a putter for sale that is forgiving on each and every shot. The Scotty Cameron Studio Select Newport #2 Putter is what you are looking for.
