With the new technology being increasing introduced into the field of IT, my question is: How could a computer network be improved to meet new and emerging technologies?

    Wireless N

    Blade storage servers with several terabytes(If you have a small business, not necessary)

    1000MPBS Lan Speed (would require semi- high end computers, though)

    All the same OS (Vista, XP, etc. Vista and XP together don’t communicate very well when it comes to networking)

    Intensify end user restrictions, and keep all software current and up to date.

    Actually not much. We’re running gigabit networking with some computers on the network still running Win2K. A lot of the new technologies don’t affect the majority of the network.
